Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse's Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, support nursing staff, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Proficiency in English is required to effectively serve the patients. The Nurse's Aide will utilize computer operation skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and medical terminology knowledge, to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
- Support nursing staff with clinical tasks including medication administration under supervision and basic patient assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using computer software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to nursing staff.
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
- Manage medical terminology accurately when recording patient information or communicating with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in acute care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in English desirable.
- Strong computer operation skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to perform medication administration following proper protocols (if certified).
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and task management.
